Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled ITI Mechanical Technician to perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of mechanical systems and machinery. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical operations, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mechanical maintenance and repairs on equipment, vehicles, or machinery
• Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance
• Identify mechanical faults and carry out necessary repairs or replacements
• Operate and maintain workshop tools and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and spare parts used
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems

Requirements:

• ITI Certification in Mechanical Trade (Fitter, Turner, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, etc.)
• 13 years of experience in a mechanical/maintenance role
• Good knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
• Physically fit and able to work in demanding environments
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in automotive, transport, or manufacturing sectors
• Knowledge of diesel and petrol engine maintenance (if vehicle-related)
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards (e.g., ISO)Role & responsibilities
